ESPN Fantasy Football Revolutionizes Game Experience with 30th Anniversary Updates

Major Overhaul for 30th Anniversary
ESPN Fantasy Football, maintaining its position as the number one fantasy football game, is marking its 30th anniversary with a complete makeover and refreshed ESPN Fantasy App, introducing new features that make the game more accessible, faster, and enjoyable for 2025.
Enhanced User Experience
The redesigned home screen now displays personalized weekly rankings from ESPN Fantasy analysts, showing how players in your starting lineup are ranked. An innovative “analyst’s picks” feature highlights relevant players and trends based on matchups and pickup opportunities.
The app now features live in-game projections that update based on real-time player performance, along with a dynamic roster dashboard that keeps managers informed about potential actions needed, including waiver wire checks on Tuesdays and trade offer notifications.
Improved Player Management
Player Cards have been enhanced to provide more comprehensive information, including historical game logs, career stats, bios, and depth charts. The add/drop process has been streamlined with an improved Players screen showing recommended additions and trending pickups, featuring quick-action buttons for immediate roster moves.
Unprecedented Access to Content
For the first time in ESPN Fantasy Football history, all fantasy football articles will be available to all users, providing complete access to premium content. This includes the 2025 ESPN Fantasy Football Draft Guide, featuring comprehensive cheat sheets, mock drafts, and projections, along with composite rankings from ESPN’s expert analysts.
Special Programming and Future Developments
To kick off the preseason, ESPN will host its Fantasy Football Marathon on August 11, featuring 26 consecutive hours of fantasy football content across various ESPN shows including Fantasy Football Now, NFL Live, and SportsCenter. Additionally, through new licensing agreements with the NFL, ESPN has secured rights to incorporate NFL game highlights and other NFL assets into ESPN Fantasy Football, with more details to be announced later.
