CHEO Dream Home 2025: ‘The Sterling’ Marks 25 Years of Hope and Healthcare Partnership
A Milestone Year for Children’s Healthcare
The CHEO Foundation has launched its 2025 Dream of a Lifetime lottery, which serves as the organization’s biggest fundraiser. The initiative is crucial for providing resources to clinicians caring for children at CHEO and Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.
This year marks a special milestone as it celebrates the 25-year partnership between Minto and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. To commemorate this silver anniversary, the 2025 Dream Home has been named ‘The Sterling’ and is located in the prestigious Mahogany community in Manotick.
The Grand Prize Package
The lottery features more than 7,400 prizes with a total value exceeding $5.2 million. The grand prize package, valued at $3.7 million, includes the fully furnished Minto Dream Home, $100,000 in cash, a Mercedes Benz SUV, along with additional prizes such as groceries, gas, and house cleaning services. The lottery also includes trips, gift cards, and a 50/50 draw with a guaranteed $1 million payout.
Architectural Excellence
The Sterling showcases a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco style, spanning 5,360 square feet. The home’s design features clean lines and geometric elegance reminiscent of the 1920s, updated with modern materials. Interior highlights include lacquered woods, neutral warm textures, fluted glass, and polished metals.

Tickets can be purchased online at dreamofalifetime.ca, by phone at 613-722-5437 or 1-877-562-5437, or by visiting the dream home in person. The lottery runs until December 19, and the home is open for tours Tuesday to Friday from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is needed for visits.
